Rockefeller Hall
Rockefeller Hall is an amazing place for wedding photography. It is one of our favorite choices for wedding receptions and/or the wedding ceremony. Rockefeller Hall has won several awards for its magnificent architecture and has the reputation of being one of Houston’s most beautiful and historic wedding venues. The original building was used as a bank, and legend has it that the bank was held up by Bonnie and Clyde in 1931. Located in the Memorial Heights area, this building’s architecture is breathtaking! The quality of service is impeccable, with attention to detail unmatched.
We were delighted when we found out that Lindsey and Chris had chosen Rockefeller Hall for their wedding reception! We knew right away that this couple was special! After a sweet engagement around the pond on Lindsey’s grandparents’ farm, 9 months later they had a very special wedding day! Lindsey and Chris experienced a unique ceremony prior to their wedding ceremony! A special time where they were able to relax, exchange personal wedding gifts with each other and have some photos taken (see our blog post on the ‘first look’) before the ceremony in front of all their guests. Their pre-marital counselor performed their wedding ceremony at their home church with 8 bridesmaids and groomsmen by their sides. Lindsey’s beautiful dress had an incredible train! She says that she bought the dress because she fell in love with the train ~ great choice!
The new Mr. & Mrs. were actually the first to arrive at their Rockefeller Hall wedding reception. They were glad to be able to see how everything looked before their guests arrived. Rockefeller Hall’s staff made sure everything was perfect! The wonderful cake was made by Acadian Bakery. This special couple had nothing less than an amazing wedding day, and the deserving newlyweds headed off to Honolulu, Hawaii for a spectacular honeymoon!
