Diana is a sweetheart. A romantic. A princess.
“Will you be my Valentine?” was the invitation for the first date with her future handsome prince. About a year later, the question she’d been longing to hear, “Will you marry me, will you be my wife?” put their dreams about being married into motion. Strongly believing that “things have a way of working out when they are meant to be” the wedding of Diana’s dreams came together in just 3 months! She even found her gorgeous gown with ease at David’s Bridal with a stunningly beautiful crystal Vera Wang sash.
Their wedding day was spent at Oakland Farm & Ranch in Tomball, Texas. A full-service wedding venue, not too far from Houston, but far enough away to experience country ambiance! The authentic country farm and ranch setting added so much to the charm of this vintage-style country wedding. It was a great location for Texas wedding photography! After getting ready in the guest house in front of a lovely antique mirror, Diana looked like royalty! Her breath-taking arrival with her father by horse-drawn carriage was magical! Her prince charming, Greg, and the guests were completely captivated!
The ceremony was held outdoors under an enormous oak tree. Diana and Greg exchanged vows in front of about 160 of their friends and family members, with a rock waterfall and koi pond (complete with heart-shaped lily pads) behind them. Of course, following the ceremony, the newlywed couple rode off into the sunset in the romantic, fairy tale carriage!
The indoor reception that followed was highlighted by the stunning, rose covered wedding cake by Jimie. Her bakery is in her Oakland Farm and Ranch kitchen, and Diana exclaimed that her wedding cake “was delicious, just like grandma would make!”

“Slava, first of all, I want to thank you for taking such beautiful pictures. Your work is amazing. I love the album you created! My husband is in awe of the results as well! Even though our wedding was not traditional in many ways and we endured some glitches, I loved every minute of it. It fitted US, and that is all I could ever hope for. The memories from that day will be forever engraved in my mind and thanks to you we will have beautiful photographs to remind us of that very special moment in our lives.”
