How Many Hours Will I Need My Houston Wedding Photographer?

When people contact me at SGI Photography, I’m often told by potential clients that they will only be needing a wedding photographer for a few hours.
I would completely agree with them if their wedding ceremony was going to be in their parents’ backyard or on the beach with a 30-minute ceremony and a 2-hour reception at the same location! What I’m trying to say here, is that if clients enjoy the type of photos they’ve been viewing at www.SGIPhotography.com  I want them to really think their timeline through.  Many beautiful and artistic portraits that they would like to have of their special day need to be taken a couple of hours prior to the ceremony as the wedding party is getting ready, or an hour in-between the ceremony and reception give or take a few minutes if it’s time for an extended family portrait but no one knows where Aunt Suzie went. For the couples’ send-off, taking an extra 15 minutes or so can make the difference in outstanding artistic poses in limousines or other unique ‘get away’ vehicles. Ultimately, the scheduling remains in the clients’ hands. However, we encourage people to keep in mind that the time allotted to the wedding photographer influences the outcome of wedding day photos!

“SGI Photography did all my photos… engagement, bridal and wedding and I could not have been happier. Slava was amazing and was very flexible with days for taking pictures and even what kind of pictures you were interested in taking. He always had the pictures posted super fast and his work is absolutely worth every penny. His book is awesome and I am so excited to get it so I can show it off. I would recommend SGI to anyone” Amy.
