I had the privilege of doing a maternity photo session in Houston with a really great couple, Jami and Lou. Jami is a very beautiful and talented young lady who is going to make a marvelous mom! Lou is a super smart and caring guy who will make an awesome dad! The love they have for each other and for their baby-on-the-way is clear. I can hardly wait to meet their little bundle of joy!

It’s a really beautiful setting for a maternity session, especially for Houston parents-to-be! Surrounded by a rich collection of historic homes and buildings, ranging from early Texas frontier and Victorian style, to Plantation style and columned Greek revival architecture in the lushly landscaped park, you are reminded of the families who paved the way for the families of today.
Couples like Jami and Lou can enjoy a maternity session as a way to ‘stop and smell the roses’ along the pathway of becoming parents. Maternity photography can be for the couple a day to really focus on each other and the love that brought them the precious little gift of life whom they will soon be welcoming into their world. Capturing these priceless moments in photos is a way to share them over and over with their growing family and pass on the story of their family’s heritage.
