George Ranch Historic Park
Wedding Photography
Gareth and Amy met in the Fall of 2010 in their Sunday School class at church.
One beautiful Saturday, on a quiet beach on Galveston Island, Gareth recited a poem he had written to Amy and the final line was “Amy, will you marry me?” At that point, he dropped down on one knee and held out the ring!
They knew they wanted a quaint and rustic but elegant, country-themed wedding as they love the outdoors and live in Texas. The barn at George Ranch fit our ‘theme’ perfectly! We then chose a nearby church, Richmond First Baptist, to have the ceremony with 130 of their friends and family.
The bride’s cake was created by Geri’s Cakes; Delicious buttercream cake with raspberry filling. The groom’s cake was chocolate with an Arkansas Razorback’s head on top.
Amy’s Wedding Gown was a delicate antique lace gown from Bella Deur.
The lovely flowers were designed by HEB in Richmond.
When they first saw each other on their wedding day, Amy and Gareth said they felt “Awe-struck, thankful, elated, blessed!”
Their adventure of a lifetime together continued as they honeymooned in Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada.
The wisdom they would share with others is that “Unconditional love is a choice. Choose to love each other more every day. Ask the Lord to give you that love, because only He can provide it!”
