Family Portrait Photography in Houston Texas
Alisa found me on the Internet and came to me with a vision to create a family portrait of her family. She also wanted a canvas portrait of her and her husband dancing, like the one she had seen on the wall at a friend’s house. Here’s what we came up with; below, are two of my favorites of them dancing in black and white. At the end of our first session, we arranged to do their family portrait on Easter weekend. Did I mention that this fun-loving couple has nine children?! You thought you had it hard! Try getting them all up, washed, dressed, and ready to go at 9 o’clock in the morning! Despite a little late start (quite understandably), we finished strong! Who knew a family portrait could be so fun! Take a look at the joy in these faces! What a treasure to capture a twirl with one of Daddy’s little girls. A family portrait is too stuffy for my taste when it fails to capture the ‘real moments’ of life with kids. There are plenty of opportunities for even the family ham to shine! Without these memory-making, candid shots, a family portrait with SGI Photography just wouldn’t be complete! This precious family was nothing less than a blessing to work with!
