Ashelynn Manor
We are honored by referrals! That’s how we were able to be a part of this lovely couple’s wedding at Ashelynn Manor. You will recognize Aly from her gorgeous bridal portrait we photographed at Rice University. We’re grateful for these wonderful couples! Ashelynn Manor is a romantic and fun location for a wedding. A place where you could feel comfortable in either heels or boots! The folks you’ll work with are top notch, and make you feel right at home. It’s no wonder that Ashelynn Manor received the 2011 WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Award for wedding venues! Located just outside of the Houston area, in Magnolia, Texas, Ashelynn Manor is close enough for easy access from the city and airport, yet far enough away to feel like you’re in another world, and another era.
On 25 beautiful acres, the 6,200 square foot mansion called Ashelynn Manor is one of the most beautiful, full-service wedding venues in the greater Houston area! This serene, yet stunning property includes the main house, chapel, carriage house, groom’s cottage, and gazebo. It is a wedding photographer’s dreamscape!

29 May 2011I love two things on this series. One, the use of the stairs with the couple. Very well done specially the first one in a soft B&W. It frames the couple so well and adds dimension. Two, the lighting technique on the “send off” shoot with the couple illuminated from behind. Very good.

2 Jun 2011Lovely photos here. You’ve captured the emotion on the family and friends as well as the bridge and groom perfectly! I wish i could shoot weddings as well as this! Maybe this is why i usually stick to portraits!
