Clint may appear to be a deeply traditional guy, meeting the love of his life was anything but traditional! Clint and Christina met on Match.com’s online dating site, and only dated 10 months before he popped the question to her on the top of a mountain during a ski trip! He was head over heels for Christina, and asked: “will you let me love you for the rest of my life?” (I heard that sigh, ladies!)
Six months later, Christina was putting on her beautiful Sottero and Midgley Adorae wedding gown to say “I do” to the man of her dreams!
Christina & Clinton’s wedding ceremony was held at North Shore Church, located a few miles north of Conroe, Texas ~ just outside of the Bentwater resort community. If your dream is to be married in a white chapel, then you will completely understand why Christina & Clinton chose North Shore Church as the location to exchange their wedding vows! Christina said that including God in their marriage and getting married in the church was important to both of them. They loved the look and feel of North Shore Church’s white chapel. Although they tried to stick to more of a traditional wedding, it was fun and unique. In spite of Clint’s traditionalism, he and his bride-to-be had a few private moments alone just prior to the ceremony to see each other for the first time! Looking back, Clint told Christina how very happy he was about doing the non-traditional ‘first look’; it allowed them to be more relaxed during the ceremony.
The fun was just beginning as 100 guests celebrated with them at the Bentwater Country Club on Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Texas. Imagine an elegant ballroom providing panoramic lake and garden views, surrounded by sophisticated architecture. The dramatic views surrounding Bentwater Country Club are a wedding photographer’s delight! In the midst of the royal occasion, Christina made it possible for Clint to step into a flair for the dramatic; ever since their engagement, Clint had been teasing everyone that he would wear an orange tuxedo like the one in the movie ‘Dumb and Dumber’ ~ he was only kidding, but Christina surprised him by getting one for him to wear at the reception! “He was so excited and the guests enjoyed the show!”
